[Geoserver-users] Changing the path to GWC S3 BlobStore tiles

Dear all,

I would like to customized the path to my tiles generated by GWC and stored
in S3. As I understand the path to the tiles generated with the S3 BlobStore
plugin is the following:

http://mybucket/[prefix]/<layer id>/<gridset id>/<format id>/<parameters
hash | “default”>/<z>/<x>/<y>.<extension>

I wonder if there is a setting somewhere. My goal is to have something like
this:

http://mybucket//<layer name>/<z>/<x>/<y>.<extension>

Thank you very much for your help.

Best,

Paolo

Hi,

I don't have much knowledge of the S3 store, but I don't think you can do that.
I think that only MBtiles blobstore allows you to do that.

To allow path customization (that's a question that comes form times to times)
development work will need to be done.

Nuno Oliveira

Customizable paths inside blob stores can also make development of other
new features more difficult. The MBTiles store was a significant pain
when adding cross parameter value truncate because of the arbitrary path
feature.
