[Geoserver-users] geoserver startup on windows

Hi,
On windows if Geoserver is installed as service, the port (8080) is
configured in the registry!!
All configuration files (wrapper.conf, jetty.xml) are ignored!
I'm wondering why on the earth is like that and why this isn't
documented???

PLEASE try to be a little more polite. Asking questions in such a tone
does not help to find people volunteering(!) to help you.

I do not know the exact answer. About documentation: just find out how
the documentation (and windows services) work, write it down and make
the Geoserver world a better place...
