Hello all,
I have an issue with my geoserver where the layer groups that I have made
are no longer in the 'layer group' list. I first thought that they had
somehow deleted themselves, but when i go to make them again (in the same
workspace), I get an error message that layer group already exists in that
workspace. I try to access the layer groups via WMS but i get no results so
it looks like these layers are not there, but i cannot recreate them. Any
thoughts about what I can do to fix this?
This error occurred after the following happened:
- We had a number of layer groups covering Australia
- I added them all to another layer group and set the mode to named tree
- I downloaded the layer as KML to view in Google earth as a test.
- The KML gave a whole bunch of broken links
- I looked at the layer groups in Geoserver and they were all gone.
Thanks!
Peter
